The Brothers River flows out of the Brothers Hills below the Hawk Falls through the Hawk Valley. This is a steep sided heavily wooded valley running between two great arms of the Brothers Hills for 30-40 km. The river is rapid and broken and the terrain is not good for rapid movement.
