IchiTemple

Ichi Temple is a sizeable buddist temple famous for its seven storey pagoda and bells. It is home to a small communtiy of monks led by a reclusive abbot. It is said that each level of the pagoda represents a differnt step on the road to enlightenment. The temple sites alongside the main southern highway at the point where it splits in to the seperate OGI and ODA roads. The adjacent village is a convienent overnight stop on the way from the agricultural heart of the island to the southern coastal fishing ports. The top storey of the pagoda has a commanding view an alert guard would easily spot any sizeable party approaching the area.
