Freezeday

Crescent Go

Bulwine, Polonthi, Lump? and Yishahi? are invited by Torath Manover, Pay Surney? and Throggar Giant-Baiter? to prove their suitability to become initiates of Orlanth?. The first contest is a wrestling contest, which is won by Lump (not unexpectedly). Yilshahi came second, Polonthi third and Bulwine last.

Waterday

Dying Moon

The second contest is a test of Mobility, involving an assault course through a forest. It turns out that that Torath has made this rather more difficult than he realised, so the contestants don't progress very far. Yishahi wins by being the last to fall out of his tree. Lump, incredibly, was second and Bulwine and Polonthi tied for third place. Overall, Yilshahi is in the lead, followed by Lump, Polonthi and Bulwine.

Clayday

Black Moon

The third contest is a test of endurance and hospitality. Bulwine proves to be the best at holding his ale and is the last to pass out. Yilshahi is second and Lump and Polonthi tied for third place. Yilshahi is still leading, Lump is second, but Bulwine has just edged past Polonthi into third place.

Windsday

Crescent Come

The fourth contest is a test of strength. Lump wins again, but even he is unable to lift the largest rock in the contest. Bulwine and Polonthi tie for second place and Yilshahi comes a disappointing fourth. This allows Lump to edge past Yilshahi into second place while Bulwine and Polonthi remain in third and fourth places respectively.

Fireday

Empty Half Moon

The fifth test is a test of boasting and heroic deeds. Yilshahi wins, followed by Bulwine, so Yilshahi edges back past Lump into first place. Bulwine is unable to catch up with Lump and take second place however.

Wildday

Full Moon

The sixth test is the most dangerous - a confusing and complex maze on the heroplane, inhabited by a smattering of chaos creatures. The party is forced to defeat a broo, a scorpionman, a dragonsnail and a walktapus before they finally find the goal and are able to return. None of the party are killed so all the standings remain unchanged.

Godsday

Full Half Moon

The seventh test is a test of spirit combat. The spirits prove to be rather diverse, but Bulwine and Polonthi put up good performances, winning jointly. Yilshahi defeats his spirit to come third while Lump loses to his spirit.
