Borite

Sindal Subsector

Borite is so named for the high concentration of boron-heavy compounds that make up the planet - an enigma that still puzzles Imperial scientists. The several million inhabitants are colonists who were originally settled here to mine valuable boron-rich minerals. The planet is ruled by the Borite Continuity Authority - a remnant of the old Drinazian bureaucracy, which controls all contact with the planet.
