Humaniti

Races

A widespread sentient race, believed to have been spread throughout Charted Space? by the Ancients? around 200,000 years ago, and therefore found on multiple homeworlds and with a wide range of physical characteristics and cultures.

There are three particular sub-races of Humaniti that have achieved Major Race? status - Vilani?, Zhodani and Solomani?; and there have in turn given rise to 4 major interstellar polities during recorded history - the First Imperium?, the Zhodani Consulate?, the Second Imperium? and the Third Imperium?.

All other known branches of Humaniti have been Minor Races?, and their cultural impacts have been minimal by comparison with the Major Race three.
