They are chosen from the most talented members of the clan, both male and female and undergoing extensive training and preparation for the dangerous rituals that they undergo. Shamen are expected to advise the Clan Chief? in all matters and keep the traditions and history of the clan alive. Shamen make use of the juice of the Spindleberry in order to help them in the spirit plane. For this reason, many shamen are blind in the mundane world.
