ClanSpearThe Clan Spear is the war leader of the clan. The Votanki? recognise that the skills of war, while similar to the skills of the hunt, are different as well. Whereas the Master Hunter is often a solitary figure, self-reliant and independent, the Clan Spear is a leader of men and a tactician. The position is sometimes given to a son of the Grandmother, but more often given by acclamation in time of war. The Clan Spear will be part of the Clan Council. |
